De Poli becomes NAVQUIM under Sogestran management

Barendrecht, The Netherlands, 16 June 2022

We are pleased to announce that De Poli Tankers Holding BV has been renamed yesterday into NAVQUIM Holding BV.

The holding company subsidiaries have also changed name, in line with the agreement between the De Poli family struck in April 1st when Sogestran group acquired 100% of the company’s shares.

NAVQUIM refers to the original name of the Spanish subsidiary of the Company, but with a modern and international twist.

With this change, the company is heading into a new and bright future as a part of Sogestran group. The Group based in Le Havre, France is a family owned company focused on inland barging, maritime activities, logistics and industrial services. NAVQUIM is the center of excellence of the stainless steel chemical tankerfleet of the Group.

The Sogestran group has injected additional working capital into the company to pay all overdue outstanding invoices to allow the company to be competitive on both purchasing and chartering side. To be more effective, all chartering and operations are concentrated in the office in Marbella, Spain while all Shipmanagement activities are located in Barendrecht, The Netherlands.

The fleet of 15 vessels, with an average age of 16 years, is going to be renewed and extended in the coming years.

Ships’ names will also be gradually changed into Latin flower names with the prefix NQ.
The first ship that has been renamed is Alessandro DP, who is now NQ Magnolia.

Last but not least a new logo, in Sogestran group style and a new company flag are completing the transition.
