Our expertise for an expert performance: between the 10th and 15th of April, CFT Rhône carried out a double rotation of transformers (278 tonnes each) with trailer, for a total of 440 tonnes RO-RO!
This loading shipment required in-depth studies, technical analysis and realization.
The expertise of the CFT is behind this success; the Engineering Department verified all the loading phases, the technical department implemented increased maintenance operations to improve system reliability (a PLC on board allows the management of all ballast systems), an impressive and unique barge design (the Sirocco was in version VHP -Very High Performance, connected with the Libeccio pontoon which is loaded by the semi-submersion of the Sirocco) and crews who have acquired these new loading techniques, quite unique in France!
